Palace of Holyroodhouse and Vintage Bus Afternoon Tea for Two

Drop in to the Palace of Holyroodhouse, Her Majesty the Queen’s official residence in Scotland, and witness the grandeur of the Royal Collection and Mary Queen of Scots’ Chambers. With its splendid towers and abbey ruins set upon green gardens, the palace exterior makes for an impressive photo op. Then take a 90 minute tour on the Red Bus Bistro. Once a 1966 Routemaster bus serving London, it’s now a unique dining vehicle. Savour a tasty spread of sandwiches, cupcakes, scones and mini quiche while touring Scotland’s stunning capital. Pass Edinburgh Castle, the Old Town and more, as friendly staff bring you a glass of Prosecco each.
Availability: The Palace is open daily throughout the year, excluding 14 April, 16-27 May, 2 June, 27 June - 8 July and 25-26 December 2017. Please check opening arrangements online before your visit. The Red Bus Bistro can be booked Thursday to Sunday, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: Duration: Expect to spend up to one and a half hours at the Palace and 90 minutes on the bus tour. The Palace is open 9.30am - 4:30pm (last entry 3.15pm) Nov - Mar and until 6pm (last 4.30pm) Apr - Oct. The bus tour is at 12pm and 3pm; please arrive 10 mins early.
